Breath for Life

When I write about Breath for Life, I mean it as it sounds and I also mean it in a much deeper way.

The process of breathing – the inhale and the exhale – fills your lungs, powers your heart, fuels your brain and gets nutrition to your cells. Many people are SHALLOW breathers. And the thing is, they don’t even know they breathe shallow!

Shallow breathing can be created by many things including the holding of one’s breath during a stressful life situation, following a lung congestion problem, due to allergies, due to anxiety, body tension, asthma, and/or never learning how to breathe properly.

That’s right…not everyone knows how to breathe properly.

Just like learning how to run properly can help you win the race and not injure yourself, learning how to breathe properly can help you:

  • Decrease stress in your body.
  • Improve your posture.
  • Increase your athletic capacity, endurance, strength and power.
  • Bring more oxygen to your brain so you can think clearly.
  • Bring more oxygen to your lungs so you can take that deeper breath, fill your lungs with air and fill your cells with more nutrition.
  • Bring more oxygen and flow to your tissues and muscles so you can experience greater flexibility and less tightness.
  • Help you feel PEACE.

In Breath for Life sessions, it’s all about teaching you to breathe to LOWER STRESS and INCREASE YOUR FLOW and open up channels of COMMUNICATION and ENERGY so your body can do what it’s naturally meant to do. Which is to heal itself, create energy, be active, think clearly, do your job, digest your food, release stress, and be in the moment.

When stress occurs over and over again, it continues to build up the fight or flight response in the body. Then people experience the symptoms of S-T-R-E-S-S including fatigue, headaches, irritability, frustrated, weight gain, stomach upset, bowel issues, inflammation, adrenal fatigue, muscle tension or pain, sleep problems, anxiety, restlessness, lack of motivation or focus, feeling overwhelmed, and etc.

In Breath for Life sessions, we work with your BREATHING AND HOW YOUR STRESS IS LOCKED IN YOUR BODY. Our sessions will not only cover how to properly inhale and exhale, but it will focus on YOUR SPECIFIC recipe for breathing AND the release of stress that’s locked in your body.
